The Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) System Aspects part of the Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in Future Transport Systems will kick off its third round in the spring semester 2021. In this CAS course, participants will learn about the basics and boundary conditions of mobility systems. Students will also gain skills about how to design innovation and change processes for mobility systems.

Graduates of the course will be able to:

  • Understand and describe the complexity of the mobility system qualitatively and relate this to their work setting
  • Derive the temporal evolution of the mobility system and set targets for mobility scenarios
  • Select adequate methods for developing, analyzing and assessing mobility systems
  • Understand economic fundamentals for innovation and transformation in the field of mobility
  • Analyze challenges for the disruption of the transport system and put this into the context their professional environment
